Stone

Public art work in Helsinki, Uutela, Finland, 2003

One stone three times in bronze

In 2003, the Helsinki City Art Museum and the Helsinki City Planning Office organised a competition to find an environmental artwork suitable for the Vuosaari Uutela canal area. Anne Koskinen won the competition with her proposal “Stone”. The work consists of one original stone and three bronze castings. The sculptures function not only as individual works of art, but also as a place to sit and enjoy the landscape.

The sculptures were installed in 2008.
